Elevate your cat’s world with LoloPaws modern wooden cat trees and cat towers—designed to look like real furniture while supporting everyday climbing, scratching and lounging. Unlike traditional carpeted towers that can trap fur and odours, our premium wooden cat towers offer a sleek, easy-clean finish that complements modern Australian homes. With styles ranging from 135cm to 205cm, it’s simple to choose the right height for your space—whether you’re outfitting an apartment, a family living room, or a multi-cat household. And for larger breeds, look for wide platforms, reinforced bases and strong posts for confident, stable play.

Cat Towers & Trees Australia – Designed to Make Living Pawsible

At LOLOPAWS, we believe every home should work beautifully for both people and pets. Our mission is simple: to Make Living Pawsible by creating modern pet furniture that blends seamlessly into Australian homes while supporting your cat's wellbeing.

Indoor cats need vertical space to climb, stretch, scratch and watch their world. A well-designed wooden cat tower gives them that territory, without the dusty carpet and wobbles of a typical pet-shop tower.

Why Indoor Cats in Australia Need a Cat Tree

Many Australian cats live mostly or entirely indoors to protect them and local wildlife. A cat tower gives them:

  • Vertical territory and safe lookout points
  • A dedicated scratching surface that protects your furniture
  • Exercise, stress relief and mental enrichment
  • Their own space in multi-cat homes

Pair it with a cosy pet couch for a home that works for play and rest.

How to Choose the Right Cat Tower

For large cats:
Look for a thick, reinforced base, wide platforms and sturdy posts. Stability is essential for heavier breeds like Ragdolls and Maine Coons.

For apartments:
Tall, slim towers or floor-to-ceiling designs maximise vertical space without taking over the room.

For multi-cat households:
Multi-level designs with several perches let each cat claim their own spot and reduce tension.

Cat Tree FAQ

Do indoor cats really need a cat tree?

Yes, especially in apartments. Climbing, scratching and watching from up high are natural behaviours. Without an outlet, indoor cats often get bored or stressed and turn to your sofa, curtains or benchtops instead. A cat tree gives them a place of their own to climb, scratch and rest.

What is the best cat tree for large cats in Australia?

For Ragdolls, Maine Coons and other big cats, choose a tower with a thick reinforced base, wide platforms and extra-thick posts. Several of our towers use 25–30mm base boards and 12cm-wide natural hemp posts to stay steady under heavier cats.

How do I stop my cat tree from wobbling?

Choose a tower with a heavy, wide base, place it on a flat floor rather than thick carpet, and re-tighten the bolts a week after assembly and every few months after that. For very tall towers or very active cats, anchoring the top to a wall adds extra peace of mind.

My cat won't use the new cat tree. What can I do?

Placement is usually the answer. Cats love towers next to a window or in the room where the family spends time, not tucked away in a corner. Rub some catnip or silvervine on the posts, place treats on the platforms and play with a wand toy around the tower. Most cats come around within a week or two.

Are wooden cat trees better than carpeted ones?

Wooden towers are easier to keep clean because they don't trap fur, dust and odours the way carpet does, and they keep their look for longer. They also suit modern homes far better. Cats still get a proper scratching surface from the natural sisal or hemp posts.

How tall should a cat tower be?

Most indoor cats enjoy towers between 135cm and 205cm. Taller towers give more vertical territory, which is especially valuable in apartments and multi-cat homes. For kittens and senior cats, choose a model with lower steps or a ladder.

Can I install a cat tree in a rental without drilling?

Yes. Our 290cm floor-to-ceiling tower uses a tension-fit design that needs no drilling, and our 150cm wall-mount tower uses an adhesive and suction mounting system that works on walls, glass and tiles.

Are LOLOPAWS cat trees suitable for multi-cat households?

Yes. Many of our towers have multiple levels, wide perches and more than one hideaway, so each cat can claim their own spot. Our 180cm and 205cm towers are designed for active multi-cat homes.

Which cat tree suits kittens or senior cats?

Choose a shorter tower with easy steps. Our 135cm Compact tower includes a 2-step ladder so kittens and less agile senior cats can reach the condo safely.

Are your cat trees safe and non-toxic?

Our towers are made from furniture-grade boards with smooth, wipe-clean finishes. Selected Studio Series models use independently SGS-tested E1-grade boards. See each product page for material details.

How long does assembly take?

Our towers arrive flat-packed with all hardware and step-by-step instructions. Many models can be assembled in under 45 minutes.

How do I clean and maintain a cat tree?

Wipe the wooden surfaces with a damp cloth, wash removable cushions as directed, and trim any loose fibres on scratching posts. Check and tighten the bolts every few months to keep the tower stable.

What is your returns and warranty policy?

Every LOLOPAWS order includes a 30-day home trial and a 1-year warranty. See our Returns & Warranty page for full details.
