What size dog or cat fits in this car seat?
The seat measures 53 x 47 x 44cm and suits small to medium dogs and cats, such as Pugs, French Bulldogs and Cavoodles. Your pet should be able to sit, turn around and lie down comfortably inside.
How does it attach to the car?
An adjustable strap wraps around your car's headrest or seat back, and the anti-slip base helps stop it sliding. It installs in under two minutes and suits most sedans, hatchbacks and SUVs.
Should I clip the safety tether to a collar or a harness?
Always a harness. Clipping to a collar can put dangerous pressure on your pet's neck if you brake suddenly. Shorten the tether so your pet can sit and lie down but can't jump out.
Is it a crash-tested restraint?
No. It's designed to keep your pet comfortable, contained and less distracting while you drive, but it is not marketed as a crash-tested restraint. For crash protection, use an independently crash-tested harness or crate.
Should my pet ride in the front or back seat?
The back seat. Front airbags can seriously injure a pet, and a pet in the front is more likely to distract the driver.
How do I clean it?
The covers are removable and machine washable, and the faux leather exterior wipes clean. Unzip the front panel for easy access after beach trips or muddy walks.
Is it comfortable in hot weather?
The reversible cushion has a cooler faux leather side for summer and a soft fleece side for winter. Keep the air conditioning on for your pet, and never leave a pet in a parked car.
Can I use it outside the car?
Yes. It doubles as a portable carrier and a comfy bed at home, and the side pockets hold treats, toys and a lead.
